Josephinische Kirchenreform in Vorderösterreich. Die Reaktion der Vorarlberger Bevölkerung

Resumo

The following proseminar-paper is about the church reforms of Joseph II and the reaction of the people in Vorderösterreich. The paper examines people`s resistance against these reforms. It especially will have a focus on the reasons why it came to unsatiesfied people. In addition to that the paper deals with the means of the struggle against the commands, it explains which role the government officials and the clergy played and how Joseph II responded to the reaction of the people.
