Abstract

This seminar-paper discusses the term „Volk” (nation, people) using the example of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The different approaches of building a common ethnos, language etc. are described and explained. It will be shown that the process constructing the nation takes place multiple times in the history of a modern state.
