Résumé

Reformation and Peasants’ War

This paper examines the connections and interactions between the Reformation and the German Peasants’ War. It focusses on the central actors of the two processes and shows the personal connections between the leaders of the different groups of reformation, i.e. Martin Luther and Ulrich Zwingli, and the process of the uprising and the demands of the peasants. In addition, the aspect of space and the variety of demands will be addressed.
